Post Christmas Stuff Swap

Sad Bastard’s Christmas was a roaring success. Over 70 came for dinner and about 50 people participated in the Gift Exchange Game afterwards… Here are some photo’s from Boydie’s Belize Blog and from Tacogirl’s Blog:

With Christmas and New Year’s come and gone, it’s time to exchange all those horrible gifts you received and will never use… and of course the best way to do that is at a Stuff Swap! So the Post Christmas Stuff Swap will be happening on Saturday, January 10th, 2009 from 6:00 pm on, at Pedro’s Pizza. Bring in all of the things that you no longer want or use, and swap it for stuff that you will use… Brilliant! Just keep in mind that the stuff should be in good condition.

Sad Bastard’s Christmas & Kayaks…

Well, it’s that time of year again. We started the annual Sad Bastard’s Christmas Party about 4 years ago now, so all of us Sad Bastards could get together on Christmas day, commiserate about how much of a Sad Bastard we are and get drunk together - the true spirit of Christmas I would say…

Well, it has grown so much over the years that on Christmas day this year (next week! holy crap!) there will be about 70 Sad Bastards in all experiencing our own special brand of Holiday Cheer. Good thing we renovated the bar this year and that the doorway now opens up completely…

Oh, and we now have Sea Kayaks for the exclusive use of our guests… Pedro’s Inn, the only Belize Hostel with the ammenities of a full service resort! What’s in store for 2009? Keep checking back to find out.

Games Night at Pedros

Join us on Saturday November 22nd for the first of our new weekly Games Night at Pedro’s Pub. This is an extra special event as there will also be yet another Stuff Swap happening that evening as well.

All the fun starts at around 6:00pm. Bring any old things that you have that you no longer need or use and swap it for something that someone else doesn’t use anymore. Things must be in good condition, and no undies please this time.

Games night this Saturday will feature a Trivial Pursuit tourny. Beer Pong has proven quite popular so it’s a good bet people will be playing that… and there will be a host of other games available to play.
