As Charlie is the nicest member of Pedro’s staff, we celebrated her 9th birthday in style. There was bbq and cake and of course Jager. Will SAGA complain about giving bowls of Jager to dogs?

A very important meeting in Caye Caulker

We seem to have very important things to do – I have since found exactly what all the “very important meetings” means exactly – Peter has been having these “meetings” since I’ve known him. Being now his official Girl Friday, I had to go on one of these meetings.

We had no idea how to get Charlie out of the very low boat and onto the very high dock – so Captain Pedro just threw her in the sea

Cindy gets Married

It’s not every day young Cindy gets married so I wanted to make sure she had a proper wedding.

Sad Bastard’s Christmas & Kayaks…

Well, it’s that time of year again. We started the annual Sad Bastard’s Christmas Party about 4 years ago now, so all of us Sad Bastards could get together on Christmas day, commiserate about how much of a Sad Bastard we are and get drunk together – the true spirit of Christmas I would say…

Well, it has grown so much over the years that on Christmas day this year (next week! holy crap!) there will be about 70 Sad Bastards in all experiencing our own special brand of Holiday Cheer. Good thing we renovated the bar this year and that the doorway now opens up completely…

Oh, and we now have Sea Kayaks for the exclusive use of our guests… Pedro’s Inn, the only Belize Hostel with the ammenities of a full service resort! What’s in store for 2009? Keep checking back to find out.
